Javier “Javi” Hernandez, LMT, MMP, CES, BS Ex Sci

Originally from New Jersey, Javi received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science - Applied Kinesiology. He moved to Texas in 2018 to live with his wife and start a family. He attended and completed the massage therapy program at Tarrant County College and received his license in 2021. He earned his Medical Massage Practitioner certification that same year and 2 years later earned his Corrective Exercise Specialist certification. In 2023, Javi started The Works - Corrective Bodywork & Recovery with the purpose of providing the best possible care and recovery for Fort Worth and the surrounding cities. 

Javi’s motto for The Works is “I’m in your corner”. He believes that bodywork has the power to facilitate significant change in a person’s state of wellbeing leading to countless positive benefits.
